Axes+Gauntlets: Dengeki+Garnet! By PengoSolvent!

I think Steven Universe is a really awesome show [I really dig the style and writing]. And Garnet is one of my favourite characters from the show. When I saw that the super-talented PengoSolvent drew this bad@$$ version of Garnet pengosolvent.deviantart.com/ar… , I decided to ask Pengo to draw Garnet wielding her 2 gauntlets teamed-up with my character Dengeki Ryouji wielding his 2 axes. I really dig the imposing poses, style, shading, and beautiful colours! Pengo even made the red oval on Dengeki's helmet a Gem, which was a cool touch!

I added the letterbox format black bars with the Steven Universe-related fonted-text for fun.

I designed my character Dengeki Ryouji as an homage to my favourite character ever, Great Mazinger, who was created by Go Nagai the Mecha Master!
