Description

The amazing lines of :icondan-the-artguy: Dan Khanna, a.k.a., Dan The Art Guy, as seen here [ estonius.deviantart.com/art/G-… ], AND the beautiful colours of :icondyemooch: Josh Perez, a.k.a., Dyemooch, on this epic pin-up of Soundwave & Storm Shadow versus Springer & my character Dengeki Ryouji! Soundwave and Springer are my 2 favourite Transformers, and Storm Shadow is my favourite G.I.Joe-related character. I really dig the dynamic fight poses, composition, hyper details, AND the killer colours/fx & shading! And Dengeki Ryouji using his tail weapon was a super cool touch!

I designed Dengeki Ryouji as an homage to my favourite character ever, Great Mazinger, who was created by Go Nagai The Mecha Master! I, also, included some elements from the X-Men Nightcrawler [my favourite Marvel character ever, who was created by master designer Dave Cockrum] and Colossus [who was also created by The Dave Cockrum], when designing Dengeki. The Eye of Horus, samurai, and knights were also key elements in Dengeki's design.

Even though they both can fly, Springer has two alt modes, while Soundwave, has just one.
